The Los Angeles Times recently titled Catt Sadler as one of the top 10 next broadcasters of our generation, noting “her Midwestern charm and down-to-earth attitude make people feel like it’s one of their own rubbing shoulders with the stars.” This Emmy award-winning journalist is currently the co-host of one of the highest rated shows on E! Entertainment Television — “Daily 10” and she shared with us her Hot List!

1. Place for brunch in L.A.:
TASTE on Melrose. Mango Mojito to die for…

2. L.A. neighborhood:
Larchmont Village. Feels like a tiny, quaint, stylish island away from the hustle and bustle. Only five minutes away, though, from everything you’d ever need in L.A.

3. Beach:
El Matador Beach in Malibu. Best kept secret! Sea caves and majestic rocks. Small, private, beautiful.

4. Person you are most excited about meet this season:
THE Meryl Streep. ICON. Class, charm, wit. Insanely talented. When I grow up, I want to be her.

5. Celebrity crush:
Two words: Johnny. Depp.

6. Favorite sports team:
Lakers. My kids play for the YMCA’s “Junior Lakers” so we’re wearing a lot of purple and yellow these days.

7. Salon:
The Argyle Salon and Spa at the Sunset Tower Hotel. Jamie Bakos gives the most incredible cuts and (shhh!) tends to my can’t-live-without extensions.

8. Thing you can’t live without:
Other than my extensions? Sushi Park’s “Chef’s Choice” menu. Sushi Park is a hole in the wall sushi joint in Sunset Plaza. Fish is exquisite!

9. Place to send a tourist:
El Capitan Theatre on Hollywood Blvd. to see a movie. So much history and where else can you see an organist come out of the floor before a flick?

10. Favorite weekend getaway:
Montage Laguna Beach. The stunning views of the Pacific, the most amazing cuisine, and the service is impeccable. You’re only an hour outside of L.A. but feel like you’re somewhere in a land far, far, away.
