Kristin Cavallari's Shoe Sells Out on ShoeDazzle
Is former “Hills” star Kristen Cavallari following in co-stars Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port’s designing footsteps? It may seem so and with a magic touch. Cavallari partnered with accessory membership site ShoeDazzle in May to produce a hot pink ruffled jute wedge she named “The Bardot” back. It certainly proved to be the “it” style for summer as the company recently confirmed that the shoe was completely sold out.
“Kristin’s stylish shoe was one of the best-selling Celebrity Designed Shoes that ShoeDazzle has produced to date,” Chief Operating Officer Deborah Benton released in a statement. “We are overjoyed to make a generous contribution to such a wonderful charity” With 100% of the proceeds from the sale of shoe going to Cavallari’s choice of charity OneKid OneWorld and an additional $5 for every new user signing up with a special promo code, it seems the reality star helped make quite a heavty donation.
“I am thrilled that ShoeDazzle’s clients loved my ‘Bardot’ espadrille,” Cavallari added. “Not only do women look great wearing the shoe, but they feel good knowing they helped a child in need.” OneKid OneWorld aims at changing the lives of children around the globe through education and athletic activities.
If you were lucky enough to snag this style we suggest pairing it with a cute summer dress or jean cutoff shorts and a breezy tank. Perfect for summer.
ShoeDazzle is an online membership club that sells designer like shoes and handbags at competitive prices. Several times a year they feature a product from their “Celebrity Shoe Design Program for Charity” where a well known stylish celeb helps design a shoe and picks the charity who will recieve all of the profits from the sale. Past partnerships include actresses Kristen Bell, Kristin Chenoweth and Jenny McCarthy. Next up on their list is Carmen Electra whose electic blue glitter platform pump will benefit non profit LA charity OneVoice.
